Dance & Design reduces hotelfares in Aarhus

Dance and design is the theme for an untraditional cooporation between business and culture in Aarhus, Denmark. Hotel Oasia with the famous Danish chef René Knudsen in front and Koreografisk Center Archauz with the artistic director and choreographer Jens Bjerregaard, are from today cooperating to increase the cultural tourism to Aarhus.

”Aarhus is the second most expensive city in the Nordic countries, and the most expensive city in Denmark as it comes to spending the night at a hotel”. That was the what national Danish Newspaper Jyllands-Posten wrote last week, citing a survey from Hotels.com.
The article told that the prize of a single room is 911 DKR in Aarhus.

Changes fares
Archauz and Hotel Best Western – Oasia will change that. The chef and the choreographer, René Knudsen and Jens Bjerregaard, have decided to work together to give cultural tourists a sublime experience.
The three offers includes three performances in the fall: ”L’invasion du vide (CA) & Fregoli Syndrome (HU)” the 3rd of October, ”Now” (DK & SG) the 7th and 21st of November, and ”Near...(ES)” the 4th of December.

International artists are going to stay at Oasia
Moreover, Archauz and Hotel Oasia have made an accommodation deal for the international guest performances of Archauz, which means that the many international companies will get the experience of Oasia when they are staying in Aarhus.
The artistic director and choreographer Jens Bjerregaard explains: - It is very important for us, that we can show the best of Aarhus to the artists. Hopefully it means that they will tell the world about Archauz and Oasia. Oasia is a good and tastefull partner, with whom we would like to be compared to.
